As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead our GTM strategy and expand Nova Solvers' presence across the defense, intelligence, civil space, and commercial space sectors.
The Director of Business Development will lead the development and execution of Nova Solvers' GTM, business development, and sales strategy across defense, national security, and government markets. This executive-level role is responsible for driving growth within the DoD, IC, NASA, and major defense prime contractors.
The successful candidate will identify strategic opportunities, cultivate executive-level customer relationships, lead capture efforts, and expand Nova Solvers' presence across the national security and commercial space sectors. Working closely with executive leadership and engineering teams, this individual will help shape long-term growth strategy while positioning Nova Solvers' advanced spacecraft avionics, sensing systems, onboard computing, payloads, and mission technologies to address emerging customer needs.

As Director of Business Development, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's growth strategy, building strategic customer relationships, and bringing innovative technologies into operational use across government and commercial markets. This is a unique opportunity to influence the direction of a rapidly growing company while working alongside a highly experienced engineering team developing next-generation space and defense systems.
This position is based in Torrance, California. Hybrid work flexibility is available based on business needs. For exceptional candidates, a fully remote work arrangement may be considered. Regular travel throughout the United States (up to 50%) is expected.
