The Nova Solvers Flight Computer / Mission Data Processor is a 3U VPX high-performance onboard computing platform designed for spacecraft command and data handling, payload processing, guidance and control, autonomy, and mission management. The platform can be configured as a primary flight computer, dedicated mission data processor, or payload processor to support commercial, civil, and national security space missions.

Product Description

The Nova Solvers Flight Computer / Mission Data Processor provides the processing capability required for modern spacecraft, supporting command and data handling, payload processing, onboard autonomy, communications, guidance and navigation, and mission-specific applications. Developed as part of the Nova Solvers Common Avionics Platform, it enables a common computing architecture that can be deployed across multiple spacecraft and payload configurations.

Built around the AMD Versal™ AI Core architecture (1902), the platform combines heterogeneous processing, high-speed memory, and a modular 3U VPX design to deliver exceptional onboard computing performance for spacecraft command and data handling, payload processing, autonomy, and edge computing applications.

The modular architecture simplifies integration with spacecraft avionics, sensors, payloads, communications systems, and power management electronics. A customizable FMC expansion interface enables rapid integration of mission-specific hardware while providing a flexible platform for future upgrades.

A custom heat frame provides efficient conductive thermal management and a robust mechanical interface for spacecraft integration.

Designed for harsh launch and space environments, the platform is engineered to withstand vibration, shock, vacuum, radiation, and thermal cycling while supporting long-duration missions in LEO, MEO, GEO, cislunar, and deep-space environments.
