Developed as part of the Nova Solvers Common Avionics Platform, it serves as the central supervisory element for coordinating spacecraft subsystems throughout all mission phases.

Product Description

The Nova Solvers System Controller provides centralized supervision and coordination of spacecraft avionics, payloads, power systems, and mission interfaces. Developed as part of the Nova Solvers Common Avionics Platform, it serves as the central supervisory element between the Flight Computer, spacecraft subsystems, and mission hardware.

Built on an FPGA-based supervisory architecture, the System Controller combines intelligent routing, deterministic control, and autonomous fault management to provide predictable, low-latency operation for mission-critical spacecraft functions. The hardware-based architecture minimizes software complexity while delivering reliable system coordination throughout the mission lifecycle.

The modular 3U VPX architecture simplifies integration with spacecraft avionics, sensors, payloads, communications systems, and power management electronics. A customizable FMC expansion interface enables rapid integration of mission-specific hardware while providing flexibility for future mission requirements.

A custom heat frame provides efficient conductive thermal management and a robust mechanical interface for spacecraft integration.

Designed for harsh launch and space environments, the System Controller is engineered to withstand vibration, shock, vacuum, radiation, and thermal cycling while supporting long-duration missions in LEO, MEO, GEO, cislunar, and deep-space environments.
